Haverkort, from the Information Centre for Low External Input and Sustainable Agriculture (ILEIA), spoke on the "Farmers' Role in Research and Extension" at Accra. Mr. K. Cleaver, Director, Africa Technical Department, World Bank, presented, in Abidjan, the World Bank's strategy for agricultural development in Africa.
